Mary Dwan		Margie Nance

This fast-paced, intensive 5-day class provides step-by-step hands-on training on the four fundamental window treatments: rod pocket panels, Roman shades, balloon shades, and pinch pleated draperies. Students learn a variety of pinch-pleat styles, including goblet and Euro pleats . Students also learn how to work with sheer fabric, a multitude of tricks-of-the-trade, industry secrets, tips for working with prints, how to fill out a professional workorder, and crucial timesaving shortcuts that assure optimum efficiency. All students will have the opportunity to become comfortable with sewing on industrial serger, straight-stitch, and blind-hemming machines. Basic iron-on fabrication techniques also will be presented.
