5 Day Program
This comprehensive course provides the foundation for custom window treatment fabrication. Students learn how to use professional tools and equipment while they construct four fundamental window treatment styles: rod pocket panels, pinch pleated panels, stationary balloon shades and Roman shades. Students learn how to write and read window treatment work-orders, calculate yardage with any size and/or type of repeat and employ trade secrets to improve workroom efficiency. Students develop their sewing skills and become comfortable with the use of the industrial straight-stitch machine, blind hemmer, and serger machines. A detailed classroom handbook and all materials and supplies are provided.
